Mission Statement: The Embodyoga® Organization nurtures the evolution of Embodyoga® teachings and principles, supports the work of our teachers, and endeavors to share the healing benefits of Embodyoga® with all communities.
Embodyoga® Organization Membership: Memberships are open to the general public as well as to Embodyoga® students and teachers. General public and current Embodyoga® students may join at $35 per year. Embodyoga® graduates at the 200-hour and 500-hour level may join for $50 per year. All membership fees go directly to support the Embodyoga® Organization, specifically to benefit community outreach programs.
Membership benefits include:
• Special advanced student and teacher practice sessions twice a year led by Senior Embodyoga® Teachers
• Listing and links for qualified Embodyoga® teachers on the Embodyoga® website.
• Ten percent off in the Embodyoga®Store (non-sale merchandise)
• Discounts on workshops and conferences.

Community Outreach Projects
Weekly Community Yoga Class Fridays 4:00-5:15 at Yoga Center Amherst! Join us every Friday for a donation based yoga class. This class is taught by rotating teachers and 100% of proceeds go directly to Partners In Health and The Give Back Yoga Foundation. The classes are open to yoga practitioners of all levels, abilities and ages. Please contact us if you are a certified yoga teacher and are interested in volunteering your time to teach in this rotation (about once every couple months) Karma Krew Nationwide Yogathon and more. Embodyoga® partners with Karma Krew to raise money to bring yoga to underserved communities.
Yoga Center Amherst makes regular contributions to Give Back Yoga Foundation and Patty Townsend serves on their Advisory Board. She has recorded a Yoga Nidra Practice for them to use and it is also available in the Give Back Yoga Program for Veterans coping with PTSD.

Mindfulness and Embodyoga® for Veterans Coping with PTSD
A program created by Embodyoga® Teachers, Suzanne Manafort ERTY-500 and Daniel Libby Ph.D. RYT200, The Veterans Yoga Project is a source of information and training for anyone interested in the use of Yoga as a therapeutic practice for Veterans coping with PTSD and other trauma-related psychological problems. This workshop is presented nationally and has been chosen by the Himalayan Institute to be included in their therapeutic programs.

Currently, a scholarship fund for weekly yoga classes is being developed we can help make yoga more accessible to everyone! Please contact us if you are interested in receiving an application to apply for a scholarship to attend yoga classes regularly.
Yoga Teacher Training Fund
If you have a passion for yoga and a desire to teach but cannot afford the training in full, please contact us to receive an application for scholarship. For every teacher training we will accept one person to take the training on a full scholarship, who will then, in turn, return to their community to teach yoga. This is most appropriate for someone who lives or works in underserved communities or someone who works in a social services, psychological services or healthcare profession.
